If you’re a local student looking for a lively, international place to live, DIS offers the chance to become a Local Resident in our Kollegium residences in Copenhagen or our Studentboende in Stockholm. As a Local Resident, you’ll live side‑by‑side with DIS students and take part in a diverse, community‑oriented environment.
"Local Residents" are students who are not enrolled in the DIS study abroad program but choose to live in our communities. It’s an opportunity to join a friendly setting where people from many backgrounds study, socialize, and build community together.
Our waitlist is non‑numeric. Instead of assigning numbers, we look at your preferences, the available rooms, and the existing community to find a match that supports a good living experience for everyone.
